Job summary

Slalom Build is seeking an experienced Network Infrastructure Program Manager in San Diego to oversee multiple deployment projects, lead enterprise infrastructure rollouts, and coordinate cross-functional teams including construction and vendors. This role emphasizes strong relationship-building and a consultative approach to delivering reliable, scalable networks on client sites.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of program/project management in network infrastructure or tech deployment
• Hands-on experience with physical network infrastructure (WiFi, data networks, switches, firewalls, servers)
• Exposure to data center, network room, or campus environments
• Experience with construction teams, contractors, or active build sites
• Familiarity with fiber optics, structured cabling, and low-voltage systems
• Strong relationship-building skills and trusted advisor mindset
• Consulting experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, execution, and finalization of multiple network infrastructure projects
• Lead deployment of enterprise network infrastructure (WiFi, data networks, switches, firewalls, servers)
• Manage implementation across network rooms, data centers, and site buildouts
• Coordinate with construction, engineering, operations, and third-party vendors
• Coordinate on-site fiber installation, structured cabling, and low-voltage systems
• Ensure QA of delivered infrastructure and installations
• Produce weekly and monthly project status reports
• Identify risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans
• Work independently while contributing to a broader delivery team
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Build relationships and serve as trusted partner to clients and internal teams
