Job summary

AT&T is hiring a Senior Product Development Engineer to lead research, design, and development of network technologies from concept to launch. You will provide technical direction, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure scalable, high-quality solutions aligned with market needs.

This role requires advanced interdisciplinary knowledge, autonomy, and frequent interaction with senior leadership, with onsite work in Bothell, WA or Plano, TX.

As a Senior Product Development Engineer, you will lead research, design, and development of innovative network technologies across the product lifecycle. You will provide technical direction, coordinate cross-functional delivery, and help ensure solutions are feasible, scalable, high quality, and aligned with market and business needs. This is an experienced professional role with advanced interdisciplinary knowledge, autonomy, and frequent interaction with senior leadership.

What you'll do

• Lead the product development lifecycle from concept through launch, balancing schedule, budget, quality, market needs, and strategic objectives.
• Provide technical oversight to validate product feasibility, functionality, scalability, testing, and quality assurance.
• Partner across engineering, marketing, sales, manufacturing, and other teams to coordinate delivery, documentation, and reporting.
• Monitor market trends, emerging technologies, and competitive products to shape development strategy and technical specifications.
• Engage customers and stakeholders to understand needs, gather feedback, and guide continuous product improvement.
• Ensure quality and innovation by taking on advanced assignments and continuing to refine technical expertise.
