Job summary

The Argo-enabled team at the company is recruiting a highly capable software engineer to strengthen the platform that powers a wide range of products including CDN, Spectrum, and Workers. You will be a key technical contributor to cutting-edge network software infrastructure across the company’s portfolio.

Qualifications

• Systems-level programming in Go, Rust, C, or C++. Rust is heavily used here and willingness to learn it is valued.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols in OSI Layers 3 and 4.
• Knowledge of HTTP, TLS, and CDN networks.
• Experience in building secure, highly-available distributed systems.
• Experience with monitoring, alerting, and debugging large-scale distributed systems.
• Experience participating in an on-call rotation.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Interest in network performance monitoring and tuning.
• Willingness to adopt AI tools in engineering workflow.

Responsibilities

• Own reliable connectivity for the company’s products across the platform.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Network Engineering, and SRE to optimize the platform.
• Engage in all stages of the software lifecycle from design to deployment and testing.
• Work with Rust, Go, Linux networking, databases (ClickHouse, PostgreSQL), Grafana, Kubernetes, and more.
• Use AI-powered tools to analyze code, inspect production systems, and accelerate problem solving.
