Job summary

Cloudflare is seeking engineers to enhance the Argo platform, ensuring reliable network connectivity for Cloudflare’s products. You’ll work with teams across engineering to translate requirements into scalable platform capabilities, and you will contribute to the lifecycle of software from design to deployment using Rust, Go, Kubernetes, and databases like PostgreSQL.

You’ll join a team that embraces AI tools to streamline code analysis, debugging, and production monitoring.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in at least one systems language (Go, Rust, C, or C++).
• Solid understanding of networking protocols in OSI Layer 3/4.
• Experience with HTTP, TLS, and CDN networks.
• Experience building secure, highly-available distributed systems.
• Experience with monitoring, alerting, and debugging at scale.
• Experience participating in an on-call rotation.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Interest in applying AI tools in engineering workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve reliability of Cloudflare's Argo-related systems.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Network Engineering, and SRE to optimize platform use.
• Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle from design to deployment.
• Work with Rust, Go, Linux networking, PostgreSQL, Grafana, Kubernetes among other technologies.
• Leverage AI-powered tools to analyze codebases and production systems.
