Job summary

Regions, a leading financial services company, seeks a Software Engineer to oversee application development, maintenance, and performance monitoring within the Technology department. You will design and deploy new applications and drive improvements across systems, with emphasis on ARGO integration and risk-compliant processes.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in CS/Engineering and 5 years of experience, including ARGO, C# .NET, and MS SQL.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
Five (5) years of experience
Proficiency with C# .NET and MS SQL
Experience with ARGO platform and related tools
Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

Oversees development and installation of new hardware and software
Installs and configures systems and other software
Tests installed software for malfunction detection
Identifies and resolves business systems issues
Designs and deploys new applications and enhancements to existing applications, software, and operating systems
Measures effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems
Develops and implements strategies to improve systems
Monitors and tests system performance
Maintains full ownership of a process typically
Ensures compliance with risk management programs, rules and regulations, and cybersecurity practices
May lead the work of junior level associates
