Job summary

Aktion Associates is seeking a Senior Network Operations Engineer for our Maumee, OH office. You will provide high‑level IT support, manage hosted servers, and assist client networks and data center services.

The role emphasizes customer engagement, issue resolution, and collaboration with NOC staff. Travel up to 20–30% is possible, with a competitive salary and 401(k) matching benefits.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years IT help desk support, MSP, or general IT experience desired.
• 0-2 years of experience with Bachelor's or Associate degree or equivalent.
• Understanding of network and endpoint topology.
• Customer service oriented and problem solving competencies.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Desktop and Server, Active Directory, Virtualization basics, and Security practices.
• Other skills such as SAGE 300 & 100, Linux, SAN Storage, Mobile deployments, FACTS, and Disaster Recovery would be a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive customer engagement by delivering a high level of support and timely response to customer inquiries.
• Resolve customer IT issues across hosted servers, client networks, servers and PCs.
• Support data center deliverables, including virtualization and storage.
• Track and resolve every customer request.
• Mentor other NOC staff for complex issue resolution.
