Job summary

Sonepar seeks a Network Operations Manager to lead the reliability, performance, and security of our enterprise network across datacenter, WAN, LAN, wireless, and SD-WAN. You will guide a team of engineers and operations staff while coordinating with security and cloud teams.

The role combines hands-on management with strategic initiatives, automation, and vendor relations to support business growth in a hybrid work model based in Hamilton, NJ or Philadelphia, with up to 20% travel.

Qualifications

• Seven+ years of experience in enterprise network engineering or network operations management.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day network operations, monitoring, incident management, escalation, and service restoration.
• Oversee WAN/LAN/Wi‑Fi, datacenter, cloud, internet, and SD‑WAN environments.
• Drive network automation, IaC, scripting, and API integrations.
• Partner with security and architecture teams to maintain resiliency and compliance.
• Mentor and develop network engineers and operations staff.
