Job summary
Maricopa County's Office of Enterprise Technology seeks a Data Networking Senior Manager to oversee reliable, secure, and scalable enterprise data networks across data centers, Internet edge, WAN/SD-WAN, and campus networks. You will lead engineering, lifecycle planning, and continuous improvement with measurable outcomes.
The ideal candidate has strong architectural judgment, leadership experience, and hands-on knowledge of BGP/OSPF, QoS, and Cisco ecosystems.
Qualifications
- Six years of experience related to network engineering/operations.
- Two years of supervisory or management experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience leading enterprise network engineering in large, complex environments.
Responsibilities
- Own the availability, performance, capacity, reliability, security, scalability, cost-effectiveness, and supportability of the enterprise network.
- Lead day-to-day operations, engineering, lifecycle planning, and continuous improvement with service metrics.
- Lead major incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Manage network projects and programs with defined scope, milestones, and budgets.
