Job summary

Alliant Energy in Madison, WI seeks a Sr. Network Operations Analyst to monitor a complex network including fiber, leased circuits and IP/MPLS.

You’ll respond to alarms, troubleshoot layers 1–3 and coordinate with field operations and engineering during incidents and maintenance. You’ll also handle circuit provisioning, device configuration, change control and documentation to keep the network resilient, secure, and scalable as the business grows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology or related area preferred.
• 6 years of experience in PC support in a networked environment, including system hardware and software support.
• Advanced administrative experience with Windows operating systems and software, imaging software, and client computing hardware.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates departmental projects and maintains medium to large computing services documentation.
• Responds to support tickets and resolves issues within defined timeframes, maintaining service levels.
• Provides leadership for resolution of moderate to complex operational issues.
• Maintains disaster recovery plans and coordinates DR drills.
• Leads creation and maintenance of technical documentation and training materials.
• Participates in Agile processes to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Engages with vendors and supports cross-team collaboration.
