Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to lead a team in Hawaii on a DISA program. You will direct engineering activities, guide project execution, and work with customers and vendors on IP and Optical networks, WAN/LAN, and IT&A readiness across DEV/TEST/Production environments.

The role requires deep experience in IP routing, DWDM, and network management, with a strong ability to brief senior personnel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
• 10+ years of related experience or equivalent.
• Active Secret clearance required.
• Experience with IP networks, SONET/TDM/DWDM, and WAN/LAN in DISN environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team of engineers and brief customers on project status.
• Provide engineering support for development, test, deployment, and sustainment of complex telecommunications systems.
• Assist with network topology planning, route planning, and configurations across DISN environments.
• Collaborate with government engineers, project managers, and task managers for coordination and testing.
• Evaluate system network requirements and provide technical recommendations.
• Support IT&A testing of network components and remote testing with field engineers.
