Job summary

Volvo Group is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Operations Network Support Technician to deliver network infrastructure support across the NRV footprint and serve as a resource for Volvo Americas sites in standardization and support.

You will work with regional and global teams to deploy new infrastructure, manage SOE configurations, and support wired/wireless LAN, Windows OS, and related warehouse devices. A Cisco CCNA certification and ITIL knowledge are valued.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience with LAN technologies and WAN topologies.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 5-10 years experience in a highly matrixed organization.
• Cisco CCNA certification is required.
• ITIL v4 Foundation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide localized time-critical support of a global network infrastructure in a complex manufacturing environment.
• Provide support/maintenance of standard infrastructure components on behalf of our Infrastructure supplier.
• Expert understanding of Cisco switching and routing.
• Expert in Cisco Wired and Wireless LAN equipment and technologies.
• Proficient in testing/analysis of network infrastructure elements.
