Job summary

Systems Planning & Analysis, Inc. seeks a Senior Network & Infrastructure Engineer to design, operate, and improve secure on-premises infrastructure for our Space Systems Command platforms.

You will join a hands-on team working with Windows and Linux servers, virtualization, and Kubernetes to sustain mission-critical software delivery. Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance required.
• Bachelor of Science degree in a related technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive experience engineering and operating enterprise networks and on-premises infrastructure.
• Current DoD-approved information assurance certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+).
• Strong hands-on experience with enterprise networking including switching, routing, firewalls, VLANs and TCP/IP services.
• Experience administering Windows and Linux servers with scripting and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with VMware vSphere/vCenter, Azure Stack Hub or comparable platforms.
• Experience with automation, IaC and configuration management tools such as PowerShell, Terraform, Ansible, and Bicep.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, operate, and improve secure on-premises networking and infrastructure for our platform services.
• Troubleshoot and optimize network performance across compute, storage, and platform services.
• Administer Windows and Linux servers, including patching, access controls, and maintenance.
• Support virtualization and storage infrastructure (VMware, Azure Stack Hub, private cloud).
• Collaborate with Kubernetes engineers to diagnose networking and workload connectivity issues.
• Implement IaC and automation using PowerShell, Terraform, Ansible, and Bicep.
• Develop and maintain network diagrams, baselines, procedures, and docs.
