Job summary

Applied Network Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Network Engineer (Implementation Engineer) to join our team in Chantilly, VA. The role requires in-depth experience with complex networks and DoD standards.

The candidate will design, implement, and secure enterprise networks, working with Cisco, Juniper, and Brocade devices, and will coordinate with operations for fault isolation and service continuity.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance and Polygraph required.
• Experience in network engineering including Tier III or higher operations and/or design.
• Production networks: Cisco, Brocade, and/or Juniper configurations.
• Experience with OSPF/BGP routing and VLANs, 802.1q, port-channels.

Responsibilities

• Plan, analyze, design, develop, test, secure, integrate, implement, operate, and maintain ANS solutions.
• Provide technical expertise to Operations engineers and technicians for fault isolation and resolution.
• Develop secure network designs aligned with DISA STIGs and obtain ATO for new devices/usages.
• Escalation points for enterprise outages across multiple teams.
