Job summary

TEKsystems seeks a network engineer at Scott Air Force Base, IL to coordinate IT activations, perform IT&A, and ensure DISA-compliant implementations. You will work with customers, solution architects and vendor SMEs to implement changes and resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Requires BS and 4-8 years of prior relevant experience.
• Active Secret security clearance is required.
• DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification (Security+ CE or equivalent).
• Prior experience with DISA, TSOs/TSRs and Change Management is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial test and acceptance and coordinate customer activations.
• Configure, test, and analyze network devices and assess traffic impacts.
• Coordinate with customers, solution architects, and vendor SMEs to implement changes.
• Manage Service Orders and ensure TSOs are in place for network changes.
• Monitor deployed changes and validate against DISA standards.
• Engage with DISA project managers to resolve unclear requirements.
