Job summary
TEKsystems is seeking a contract-to-hire Network Engineer to support Scott AFB, IL. The role focuses on DISA-aligned ITA, reporting, data input, and activation of network equipment per DISA standards.
You will configure out-of-band management with Cisco/Juniper gear, upgrade software, and assist with IP addressing schemes while coordinating with stakeholders to keep projects moving forward. Requirements include a DoD security clearance, DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 certification, and experience with
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 3 years of recent specialized experience OR associate with 7 years OR major certification with 7 years.
- Experience with DISA processes and DoD networks is required.
- Knowledge of BGP/ISIS, VLANs, and network troubleshooting is expected.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with DISA project managers and customers to resolve incomplete or unclear requirements.
- Input service requests into DISA Storefront (DSF) and verify POC, location, and interface details.
- Configure and maintain DISA's out-of-band management network across Cisco/Juniper devices.
- Perform ITA, testing, reporting, and data input to meet DISA standards.
