Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. seeks a Senior Network Engineer with deep Zscaler expertise to own the design, operation, and security of HRSA's Zscaler environment, while supporting enterprise LAN/WAN, firewalls, and remote-access infrastructure.

You will work hands-on with PMs, OISP, and desktop/server support teams, administering ZIA/ZPA/ZDX, SSO (Okta), and troubleshooting network issues. On-site in Rockville, MD with strong security and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
8+ years of network engineering experience with hands-on Zscaler administration (ZIA, ZPA, ZDX).
Strong SASE architecture knowledge including SSL inspection, URL filtering, DLP, CASB, threat protection.
Experience integrating Okta or other IdP with Zscaler via SAML/SCIM.
Solid networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, routing/switching, IPsec VPN, firewalls).
Experience with enterprise firewall platforms (Cisco ASA/Firepower or Palo Alto).
Familiarity with NIST 800-53, TIC 3.0, and CISA BODs.

Responsibilities

Administer, upgrade, and optimize ZIA, ZPA, and ZDX releases and policies.
Maintain SSO integration between Zscaler and HRSA Okta.
Develop troubleshooting playbooks for Zscaler Client Connector issues.
Design and maintain enterprise LAN/WAN, routing, switching, firewalls, and remote access.
Monitor network performance and coordinate upgrades and procurement.
Deliver Zscaler reports and maintain network diagrams/SOPs.
