Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking a Senior Network Engineer with deep Zscaler expertise to support HRSA. You will own the design, operation, and security of HRSA's Zscaler environment while supporting the broader enterprise LAN/WAN, firewall, and remote-access infrastructure.

This hands-on role works with PMs, OISP, and desktop/server teams. You will administer ZIA/ZPA/ZDX, create security policies, and maintain SSO with Okta.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 8+ years of network engineering experience with hands-on Zscaler administration (ZIA, ZPA, ZDX).
• Strong SASE architecture knowledge and Zscaler policy expertise.
• Experience integrating Okta or other IdP with Zscaler via SAML/SCIM.
• Strong networking fundamentals and end-to-end connectivity troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Administer, upgrade, and optimize ZIA, ZPA, ZDX including releases, reporting, and blocks.
• Create and maintain ZIA security policies with OISP.
• Maintain SSO integration between Zscaler and HRSA's Okta.
• Develop troubleshooting playbooks for Zscaler Client Connector issues.
• Design and maintain enterprise LAN/WAN, routing/switching, firewalls, and remote access.
• Monitor network performance and coordinate upgrades and procurement.
• Deliver ad-hoc Zscaler reports and maintain documentation.
