Job summary

RR Donnelley & Sons is seeking a senior network engineer to design, deploy, and maintain enterprise networks in the Warrenville, IL area. You will work across LANs, WANs, wireless, and data center resources, ensuring reliable connectivity and performance throughout the organization.

The role requires 5–7 years of experience, Cisco/NetScaler/Palo Alto proficiency, and strong communication skills to partner with IT and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree and 5–7 years of relevant work experience.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
• Able to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
• CCNA/CCNP certifications preferred.
• Experience with enterprise network tools and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain and deploy company LANs, WANs and wireless networks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network problems; assess and implement improvements.
• Provide technical support for internal and external customers and projects.
• Interact with vendors and business staff to resolve issues and plan capacity.
• Document procedures and maintain network diagrams and related materials.
