Responsibilities

Configure, maintain and deploy LANs, WANs and wireless networks, including routers and switches.
Troubleshoot network problems and implement software/hardware changes to improve performance.
Provide network support for internal and external customers; serve as a technical resource.
Participate in client projects to upgrade network infrastructures and interface with stakeholders.
Analyze network activity to detect issues and design improvements for availability.
Assess bandwidth to meet business needs and provide planning recommendations.
Document procedures and keep diagrams up to date.
Work with vendors and internal teams to resolve problems and implement tools.
Mentor junior engineers and develop how-to guides under management direction.
