Job summary

Randstad Digital Americas in Plano, Texas is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to design, implement and support enterprise LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, VPN and Wireless networks in a high-availability environment.

You will manage Cisco routing and switching, firewall and security platforms such as Fortinet FortiGate and FortiADC, support hybrid cloud connectivity with Azure, and collaborate with security teams on vulnerability remediation and incident response.

Qualifications

10 years of Network Engineering experience in enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

Design, implement and support enterprise LAN/WAN/SD-WAN/VPN and Wireless networks.
Manage and optimize Cisco routing and switching and network infrastructure.
Configure and support enterprise firewalls, load balancers including Fortinet FortiGate and FortiADC and network security appliances.
Support hybrid cloud connectivity between on-premises data centres and Microsoft Azure.
Administer network technologies including BGP, OSPF, VLANs, QoS, DNS, DHCP and TCP/IP.
Monitor network performance, capacity and availability using enterprise monitoring tools.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex network incidents and production issues.
Implement network segmentation, access controls and security best practices leveraging Fortinet security fabric.
Participate in disaster recovery planning, testing and business continuity initiatives.
Collaborate with Security teams on vulnerability remediation and compliance requirements.
Maintain network documentation, diagrams, standards and operational procedures.
Participate in on-call support and major incident response activities.
