Job summary
Elastic is seeking a Senior Network Engineer (VPN/VDI) to design, deploy, and manage our multi-cloud network and VDI infrastructure. You will collaborate with engineering, security, and operations teams to drive automation and implement Zero Trust security for scalable, reliable systems.
You will optimize Meraki deployments, configure Aviatrix, provide on-call support, document changes, and mentor junior engineers.
Qualifications
- 5+ years with network engineering in a multi-cloud environment.
- 3+ years with VPN and VDI technologies.
- Proficiency in designing multi-cloud network architecture.
- Experience with Meraki network management and Aviatrix.
Responsibilities
- Design a robust multi-cloud network architecture with diagrams and documentation.
- Assist in deploying VPN and VDI solutions, support integration, and on-call troubleshooting.
- Monitor network performance metrics and optimize resource allocation.
- Implement Zero Trust security principles and conduct security assessments.
- Diagnose and address VPN/VDI connectivity issues and document troubleshooting.
- Maintain network configurations, update architecture diagrams, and develop SOPs.
