Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc seeks a Network Engineer 5 to join the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) business unit.

You will design, install, and maintain secure network solutions for federal, local, and commercial customers, supporting the US Air Force Education and Training Center, with a focus on ITIL processes, cybersecurity, and system integration. The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of progressive experience, strong communication, and the ability to work on-call.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and 10+ years of progressive experience.
• ACTIVE SECRET Clearance is required for access to classified information.
• Strong knowledge of ITIL concepts and network security implications.
• Experience in design, testing, and deployment of secure network solutions.

Responsibilities

• Survey reports measurement results to senior personnel and management.
• Install, configure, and maintain network services, equipment, and devices.
• Develop network designs for each SLA classification and prepare design documents.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex network problems; provide operational improvements.
• Prepare cost estimates and supporting documents for projects; assist in bids.
• Support 24/7 on-call schedule and maintain system documentation.
