Job summary

Amatriot Group, LLC in Chantilly, VA is seeking a Network Engineer to install, manage, troubleshoot, and sustain public and private networks, including IP networks, WANs, Cisco switches and routers, servers, network inventory, site deployments, and documentation. The Network Engineer provides hands-on technical expertise and supports site deployments, troubleshooting, and reporting.

This role requires travel up to 25% CONUS and collaboration with the Network/Server Lead to ensure maximum

Qualifications

5+ years of IT experience focusing on network support, Cisco routers/switches, and LAN/WAN management.
Hands-on experience with installation and management of IP networks, WANs, Cisco devices, and server troubleshooting.
Strong communication skills and ability to document and report network changes clearly.

Responsibilities

Provide hands-on installation and management of public and private networks, including IP networks, WANs, switches, Cisco routers, servers, and related network infrastructure.
Troubleshoot servers and networks to support maximum performance and availability.
Provide Tier III network technical issue resolution and proper use of hardware.
Prepare drawings documenting network configuration changes at each site.
