Job summary

Venat f4re is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, secure, and maintain complex enterprise networks in support of USCENTCOM. The role emphasizes SD-WAN, NFV, Zero Trust, and multi-cloud connectivity.

The position is onsite at USCENTCOM Headquarters, MacDill AFB in Tampa, FL, with up to 10% travel annually to CONUS/OCONUS locations. Requires TS/SCI-level clearance and proven leadership in enterprise networks.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
Eight or more years of progressively responsible network engineering experience.
Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information clearance.
Expert-level knowledge of Cisco, Juniper, Arista, or comparable enterprise networking platforms.

Responsibilities

Develop enterprise network designs for routing, segmentation, resiliency, scalability, and automation.
Architect secure network solutions using Cisco ACI, NSX, ISE, Palo Alto or equivalent.
Integrate Zero Trust and microsegmentation across on-prem and cloud environments.
Deploy, configure, manage, and maintain LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, VPN, data center, and cloud networks.
Design, implement, and support SDN/NFV solutions and network automation workflows.
Ensure DoD security policy compliance and support mission-critical systems.
