Job summary

Peraton at MacDill AFB seeks a senior Network Engineer to lead secure DoD network implementation under the SITEC-3 EOM, focusing on Zero Trust, endpoint compliance and CSW integration. This role drives deployment, optimization and 24x7 operations for distributed DoW networks.

You will translate enterprise designs into secure network infrastructure, ensure RMF/STIG compliance, and collaborate with cybersecurity, systems engineering, and cloud teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.

Qualifications

• DoD 8570 IAT II Certification and CCNP are required.
• DoD TS/SCI clearance is required.
• Experience levels span multiple degrees: 12 years with HS, 10 with AS/AA, 8 with BS/BA, 6 with MS/MA, 3 with PhD.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with enterprise network architects by translating high-level concepts into actionable tasks, deployment plans and baselines.
• Drive the implementation and integration of network access control, endpoint compliance, and secure onboarding (C2C).
• Lead zero-trust workload protection, application visibility, and dynamic micro-segmentation policies across the enterprise (CSW).
• Ensure all deployed solutions comply with architectural designs, DoD STIGs and RMF requirements.
• Coordinate with cybersecurity, systems engineering, and cloud teams to integrate network security tools across hybrid/multi-cloud environments.
• Develop and maintain network documentation including diagrams, data flow maps and SOPs.
• Evaluate new network technologies, firmware, and security patches prior to deployment.
