Job summary

Rackspace Technology is seeking a senior Network Engineer to design, architect, implement, and support an enterprise multi-datacenter network. You will lead complex projects, mentor engineers, and drive automation initiatives using Python and Ansible.

The role is hybrid, based in the Seattle/Tacoma area with on-site as needed. Requires 8–11 years of experience, CCNA/CCNP/CCIE background, and a Bachelor’s degree. Global benefits and a collaborative team culture are highlighted.

Qualifications

8–11 years of enterprise network experience.
Hands-on with Cisco ACI and SDA fabric
Strong knowledge of BGP/OSPF routing design and optimization
Automation with Python and Ansible is required or strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Designs scalable network solutions across routing, switching, fabric, and security.
Leads complex troubleshooting of routing, fabric, and firewall policy conflicts.
Architects Cisco ACI fabric environments and SDA fabric designs.
Configures and maintains BGP/OSPF in multi-site environments.
Develops VN- and spine-leaf designs with VXLAN/EVPN.
Leads implementation planning for routers, firewalls, and switches.
Creates and maintains network diagrams and SOPs.
Mentors junior engineers and participates in on-call rosters.
