Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance with SSBI (Tier 5) or Top-Secret clearance.
• Minimum of three (3) years of relevant network engineering experience.
• Required Certifications: CCNA and IAT Level II compliant certification (Security+, CySA+, SSCP, GSEC, CCNA Security, CND, or GICSP).
• Preferred Certifications: CCNP Enterprise, Check Point CCSA.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in lieu of degree.
• Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN protocols, including OSPF, BGP, MPLS, LDP, STIG compliance, routing/switching, and multi-vendor network devices.

• Planning, executing, and documenting laboratory assessments of hardware, software, and configuration changes.
• Coordinating with government customers to develop Technology Assessment Plans and Change Implementation Plans.
• Preparing detailed After Action Reports documenting approach, results, and recommendations.
• Identifying emerging network capabilities and developing evaluation criteria.
• Developing system evaluation methods, testing approaches, and technical documentation with network monitoring systems.
• Producing formal engineering documentation for executive-level briefings.
• Ensuring interoperability between DLA WAN and DISN network systems.
• Planning and tracking implementation tasks, creating network maps and designs, test plans, and configurations.
• Defining network requirements and collaborating with IT professionals to implement network services.
• Developing alternative solutions and backup plans with functional users.
