Job summary

GDIT in Springfield, VA is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to support the DLA IOEE/IOSEE program. This hybrid role requires weekly office presence in Springfield.

You will lead network design, implement technology refreshes, and provide status updates to contract leadership and the customer. The candidate should have 5+ years of related experience, an Active Secret clearance with favorable Tier 5 investigation, and current IAT Level III, CCNP-E, and CCSA certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 4 years may substitute for degree.
• 5+ years of related network engineering experience.
• Active Secret clearance with favorable Tier 5 investigation.
• Current IAT Level III, CCNP-E, and CCSA certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and implement network solutions for unclassified and classified environments.
• Coordinate with government customer to develop an TAP, including objectives, scope, equipment, configurations, technical approach, and schedules.
• Prepare After Action Reports documenting approach, results, recommendations, and rationale.
• Identify new network capabilities and develop evaluation/selection criteria.
• Develop system evaluation methods and procedures.
• Produce formal documentation of recommendations for executive briefings.
• Ensure interoperability between DLA WAN and DISN network equipment/services.
• Plan and track implementation tasks.
• Create network maps, detailed designs, test plans, operations readiness test reports, configurations, and maintenance procedures.
