Pacific Life seeks a Senior Network Engineer in Omaha, NE to design, implement, maintain, and support our growing network infrastructure. You will work with security teams to build controls and protect customer data in a Fortune 500 environment.

The role requires 7+ years IT experience, Cisco IOS/XE/NX-OS expertise, and experience with NetScaler, F5, Riverbed, Palo Alto. Hybrid schedule, nights/weekends may be involved, with generous benefits and collaboration across global networks.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years IT experience configuring and installing network devices and services.
• Advanced skills with IPSec, DMVPN, BGP, OSPF, QoS, 802.1x; familiar with Cisco IOS, IOS-XE, NX-OS.
• Experience with NetScaler, F5, Riverbed, Palo Alto, Cisco products; CCNP or CCIE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement network and security solutions to meet business requirements.
• Design and rollout network infrastructures with capacity planning, performance tuning, and configuration optimization.
• Maintain network security across the global enterprise; monitor for security breaches and investigate incidents.
• Collaborate with management and vendors to develop and implement new solutions.
• Develop technical documentation describing deployment, configuration, and management of network infrastructure.
