Job summary

V3Gate LLC is seeking a Network Engineer to ensure stability and secure data center networking. You will monitor, maintain, and optimize networked systems and mentor junior staff.

The role requires hands-on experience with multiprotocol routers, multilayer switches, firewalls, and network management tools, plus DOJ Public Trust clearance eligibility and Washington, DC area on-site work with hybrid flexibility.

Qualifications

• Active CCNA or CCNP certification required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Network Engineer.
• DOJ Public Trust clearance eligibility or equivalent.
• U.S. citizen or eligible to work without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot network performance issues and analyze traffic.
• Monitor and respond to hardware/software problems in data centers.
• Provide data center networking support in an enterprise environment.
• Lead design reviews and contribute to scalable network architectures.
• Develop and maintain documentation on configurations and topologies.
• Collaborate with team members and liaise with vendors.
