Job summary

Talis Consulting Group is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to lead enterprise network initiatives across Seattle-area locations. You will design, implement, and optimize complex networks, including firewalls, switching, wireless, WAN, and cloud connectivity.

The role requires hands-on expertise with Palo Alto and Aruba technologies, strong troubleshooting, and collaboration with security leadership. Hybrid work in Seattle is offered with a focus on modernization and resilience.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of enterprise networking experience.
• Hands-on with Palo Alto firewalls in production environments.
• Experience with Aruba switching and wireless infrastructure.
• 2+ years of cloud networking in Azure and/or AWS.
• Ability to design and troubleshoot complex network solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, maintain, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure.
• Support Palo Alto firewall environment, policy management, threat prevention, and URL filtering.
• Administer Aruba switching and wireless across locations.
• Support Palo Alto Strata Cloud SASE for secure remote access and cloud security.
• Lead network projects from design through implementation and handoff.
• Provide senior technical escalation for complex incidents.
• Develop and maintain network documentation and runbooks.
• Collaborate with security for policy reviews and controls.
• Stay current on networking technologies and recommend improvements.
