Job summary

Saronic Technologies is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, deploy, and manage our global network infrastructure. You will lead enterprise-grade projects, secure perimeters with Palo Alto firewalls, and optimize hybrid cloud connectivity, ensuring high availability and performance across locations.

The role requires 7+ years in network engineering, strong Cisco/Aruba expertise, and hands-on firewall/VPN configuration experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in enterprise network engineering roles.
• Strong expertise with Cisco Catalyst switches and Aruba wireless technologies.
• Proven experience configuring Palo Alto Networks firewalls and VPNs.
• Proficient in network monitoring with SolarWinds or similar.
• Solid understanding of L2/L3 protocols (VLANs, STP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP).
• Experience with hybrid or cloud networks (AWS/AWS GovCloud, Azure, GCP) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support enterprise-grade network solutions focused on scalability, security, and performance.
• Administer Cisco Catalyst switches and Aruba wireless infrastructure across multiple locations.
• Manage security perimeters with Palo Alto firewalls and VPN configurations.
• Monitor health and performance using SolarWinds; respond to alerts and resolve issues.
• Lead network upgrade projects, segmentation, and expansion with minimal disruption.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate network services with cloud environments.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and maintain comprehensive network documentation.
• Ensure compliance with security standards and assist audits.
