Job summary

PGTEK is seeking a Sr. Network / Hybrid Engineer to design and deliver secure, observable connections between mission environments and Google Cloud for federal and DoD customers.

The role includes designing Shared VPCs, routing, DNS, load balancing, and VPN/Interconnect, with emphasis on secure, compliant networking. You will implement solutions using VPC, BGP, HA VPN, Interconnect, DNS, and firewalls, mentor teammates, and support RMF/FedRAMP/DoD activities.

Qualifications

• Experience designing Shared VPCs, routing, DNS, load balancing, VPNs.
• Experience with VPC, BGP, HA VPN, Interconnect, DNS, and firewalls.
• Familiarity with RMF/FedRAMP/DoD authorization processes.
• Proven ability to mentor teammates and establish reusable standards.

Responsibilities

• Design Shared VPCs, routing, DNS, load balancing, VPN/Interconnect, segmentation, and network troubleshooting.
• Implement solutions using VPC, BGP, HA VPN, Interconnect, DNS, and firewalls.
• Mentor team members and contribute reusable standards.
• Support RMF/FedRAMP/DoD authorization activities.
