Job summary

GCI Communication Corp. seeks an Engineer III to develop, deploy, and maintain network products and services. You will interact with internal and external stakeholders to ensure performance aligns with designs within budgets and policy.

Qualifications

• Requires a combination of work experience and/or education to meet total years required.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, mathematics, or related field.
• Minimum of six years of experience in relevant field.

Responsibilities

• Forecasting demand on the GCI network (satellite, microwave, core, TERRA, HFC, Mobility).
• Provides bi-annual forecasts for input into the long range plan.
• Performs ad-hoc capacity checks as requested by other departments.
• Coordinates with other departments to optimize costs by right-sizing leased capacity.
• Automates and optimizes processes, workflows, and tools.
• Mentors junior engineers and supporting technicians.
