Job summary

GCI Incorporated seeks a Network Engineer to design and implement on-prem and cloud network solutions, including VPNs, firewalls, and routing. You will plan, test, and troubleshoot architectures, ensuring secure, scalable connectivity for critical missions.

Responsibilities include deploying Cisco/Juniper firewall tools, monitoring networks, and translating customer needs into technical designs. US citizenship with TS/SCI clearance is required. This position supports multiple mission domains.

Qualifications

• Experience configuring, designing, maintaining, and troubleshooting LAN/WAN devices.
• Experience with IPSec site-to-site and remote access VPNs.
• US citizenship and active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.

Responsibilities

• Designs and plans network communications to include on-prem and cloud-based systems.
• Provides specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture.
• Plans implementation of enhancements and security upgrades to the network.
• Hands-on setup, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of on-site network infrastructure.
• Monitors network hardware and cloud device operations to ensure proper functioning networks.
• Provides technical guidance and recommendations on hardware/software and interconnections.
