Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field with 5+ years of network engineering.
• Alternatively 8+ years of network engineering without a degree.
• Five years of verifiable network engineering experience for a large Federal agency.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, VPNs and VLANs.
• Cisco technology and Firewall technologies expertise.

Responsibilities

• Engineer, install, maintain, configure, and troubleshoot WAN/LAN/VPN/WLANs and perimeter security per customer standards.
• Provide Tier 2/3 escalation support and conduct root cause analyses.
• Plan and oversee network upgrades, SD-WAN transitions, cloud interconnects.
• Maintain network diagrams, SOPs, and change tickets with ServiceNow/Remedy.
• Support 24/7 on-call rotation within SLA and coordinate cross-functional escalation.
