Job summary
Peraton is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to support and maintain enterprise-wide and local network infrastructure on-site in Washington DC for the Department of Labor contract. The role emphasizes ensuring deployments are properly implemented, documented, and supported, with a focus on Cisco routing, switching, and security.

Qualifications
- Extensive network engineering experience with relevant degrees; 8+ years with BS/BA, 6+ with MS, 3+ with PhD, or 12+ with HS diploma.
- Experience with Cisco hardware and ASA firewalls and strong routing/switching knowledge.
- Proficient in monitoring/management: SNMP, SYSLOG, NETCONF, TFTP; familiar with SolarWinds, ServiceNow, DNA Center, ISE.
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance and work on-site in Washington, DC.
Responsibilities
- Maintain enterprise-wide and local network infrastructure.
- Collaborate with technology partners to enhance networking.
- Ensure deployments are documented and supported.
- Monitor performance to meet service levels.
- Troubleshoot connectivity and routing issues.
