Job summary

Right! Systems, Inc. is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise networks for diverse customers.

The role reports to the Director of Networking & Security Practice and may require travel up to 30% with occasional evenings/weekends. Location is in the service area with Bellevue office as a base. The ideal candidate has 7+ years of hands-on experience, CCIE preferred, strong expertise in routing, switching, wireless, SD-WAN, SASE, and security, and comfort

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on experience designing, implementing, supporting, and troubleshooting enterprise network technologies and solutions.
• CCIE certification strongly preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, VLANs, spanning tree, routing protocols, redundancy and high availability, QoS, multicast, VPNs, and security fundamentals.
• Experience deploying and troubleshooting enterprise routing, switching, wireless, and WAN/SD-WAN solutions.
• Experience with Cisco/Meraki, HPE Aruba Networking, HPE Juniper Networking/Mist, Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet; multi-vendor experience preferred.
• Knowledge of SD-WAN, network fabrics, cloud-managed networking, SASE/SSE, and network automation is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and customer service orientation; ability to work with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Willingness to travel to customer locations as required; occasional evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, configure, migrate, troubleshoot, and support enterprise networking solutions for customers across various industries.
• Build and maintain a deep technical understanding of enterprise networking technologies including routing, switching, wireless, SD-WAN, network security, SASE, and related technologies.
• Serve as a technical delivery resource on complex customer projects involving multiple technologies and vendors.
• Implement solutions per designs, SOWs, requirements, and vendor best practices.
• Perform migrations, upgrades, and new deployments with minimal downtime.
• Work onsite and remotely to diagnose and resolve complex network issues.
• Develop plans, diagrams, configurations, and as-built documentation.
• Collaborate with architects, project managers, delivery engineers, and customer teams to successfully deliver projects.
