Walmart Global Tech is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, deploy, automate, and support enterprise networking technologies powering Walmart’s largest events, conferences, and collaboration spaces. You will build scalable wired and wireless infrastructure and lead automation initiatives across teams, ensuring high availability and performance for tens of thousands of associates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field is commonly expected.
• Strong background in enterprise networking design and operations.
• Experience with large-scale event networking and security considerations.

Responsibilities

• Design enterprise networking solutions and resilient network architectures.
• Deploy and optimize enterprise switching, routing, and large-scale wireless environments.
• Lead Wi-Fi 7 implementations and support temporary event networking.
• Develop network automation and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions.
• Build monitoring, telemetry, and observability capabilities.
• Partner with Software Engineering teams to drive automation initiatives.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues and support incident response efforts.
• Improve deployment standards, scalability, and operational excellence.
• Support executive and high-visibility events.
• Participate in architecture reviews and engineering planning.
• Develop and maintain engineering documentation and best practices.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team growth and knowledge sharing.
