Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Network Automation Engineer to help design, deploy, and automate our global wireless and wired access infrastructure across thousands of sites. You will build automation pipelines, validate new hardware, and work with firmware, field ops, and infrastructure engineers to ensure reliable, scalable network services.

This role emphasizes data-driven decisions and cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of automation scripting using Python, Bash, Shell and/or Perl.
• 4+ years experience developing engineering, deployment, or operations mechanisms to support IP network and/or networking systems.
• 4+ years experience in a network focused hands-on technical role working with IP routing protocols/technologies and platforms in large scale enterprise wireless network environments.
• 4+ years of experience in network engineering, with deep expertise in wireless (802.11ac/ax/be) and wired (802.1X, RADIUS, DHCP, DNS) access technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and Deploy Network Solutions: Lead design, development, and deployment of network access solutions across wireless and wired technologies.
• Own End-to-End Project Delivery: Manage complex network engineering projects from requirements to deployment and validation.
• Build Automation and Tooling: Create automation frameworks for network configuration, validation, and zero-touch deployment pipelines.
• Enable Self-Healing Operations: Develop automated remediation workflows, anomaly detection models, and predictive maintenance for wireless infrastructure.
• Drive Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with engineering, field ops, network ops, and program mgmt to balance performance, cost, and simplicity.
