Job summary

Walmart in Dallas seeks a Senior Network Architect to design, optimize, and manage large-scale networks across multiple platforms. You will lead maintenance plans, implement IaC with Terraform, and drive security and reliability improvements.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into scalable network solutions, monitor KPIs, and ensure SLAs are met while guiding change management and risk assessments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, information systems, electrical engineering, or related area and 3 years’ experience in large‑scale networking environments or related area.
• 5 years’ experience in large‑scale networking environments or related area.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network performance using metrics and KPIs to ensure adherence to defined service level objectives and identify areas for optimization.
• Develop and execute network maintenance plans, including updates, expansions, and fault isolation to maintain system reliability.
• Analyze business and technical requirements to design and optimize network architectures aligned with organizational needs.
• Investigate and resolve complex network issues, collaborating with teams to implement effective solutions and escal/ging when necessary.
• Establish and review network design KPIs and service level agreements to support performance and availability goals.
• Guide coding and automation efforts to enhance network scalability, security, and operational efficiency.
