Job summary

Dexian Government Solutions is recruiting a Senior Network Administrator to support our contract at PEO STRI in Orlando, FL. The role focuses on design, deployment, and troubleshooting of layer 2/3 networks to ensure high availability, security compliance, and uptime.

The candidate will lead with LAN/WAN/WLAN design, support data center networks, and collaborate with IT security on policy enforcement while maintaining DoD network compliance and STIG remediation. Clearable US Citizen required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years hands-on network engineer experience in implementation, troubleshooting, and design.
• Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent.
• Secret clearance required.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF).
• Deep familiarity with Cisco and Palo Alto enterprise network equipment.
• Knowledge of NGFWs, IDS/IPS, and network access controls.
• Experience with high-availability designs and disaster recovery.

Responsibilities

• Serve as top-tier escalation point for complex network incidents and performance issues.
• Design, implement, and optimize LAN, WAN, WLAN, and data center networks.
• Develop and maintain network documentation (diagrams, configurations, SOPs).
• Collaborate with IT security to enforce network security policies.
• Monitor network performance and ensure high availability and uptime.
• Evaluate and adopt new networking technologies, tools, and vendors.
• Remediate STIGs and apply IAVM patches; support DoD security directives.
