Senior Network Engineer

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining network solutions that support our enterprise infrastructure. You will play a crucial role in ensuring network performance, security, and reliability while leveraging automation and cloud technologies to improve efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design and implement network infrastructure solutions for enterprise environments.
2. Manage and optimize LAN, WAN, and wireless networks to ensure high availability and performance.
3. Utilize automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and CloudFormation to streamline network operations.
4. Conduct network migrations and integrate cloud solutions into existing infrastructure.
5. Develop and maintain documentation related to network configurations and procedures.
6. Troubleshoot and resolve network issues related to routing, switching, and security.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support DevOps initiatives and improve data security measures.
8. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices to enhance network provisioning and management.
9. Stay updated with the latest networking technologies and best practices.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering roles, with a focus on enterprise networks.
3. Expertise in Enterprise Cisco Switching and wireless experience.
4. Minimum 5 years of automation and infrastructure as code experience (Ansible/Terraform/CloudFormation).
5. Experience with IP networking, routing protocols, and network security (ASA, firewalls).
6. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Shell for automation tasks.
7. Experience with network monitoring and management tools.
8. Familiarity with Linux operating systems and cloud environments.
9. Knowledge of data center networking, including switching and wireless technologies.
10. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
