Rate: $80/hr - $85/hr

About The Opportunity

A mid-sized software company is seeking a Senior Security Engineer. They developed ITPie, a network product providing detailed insights and control over IT networks, managing network-attached devices, visualizing network relationships, and generating reports. Their product is used both in and outside the federal government, notably by the Department of Defense and the US Army, on most US Army bases.

Job Details

As a Sr. Security Engineer, you will help create, evolve, document, and implement security development and deployment practices for a product delivered on-premises and in the cloud.

Responsibilities

• Create, evolve, document, and implement security development and deployment practices
• Assist the development team in implementing security controls and practices within the software development process
• Provide guidance and requirements for on-premises deployment
• Establish a secure environment for the cloud offering

Qualifications

• Experience with C#/.NET and familiarity with JavaScript
• Knowledge of security best practices and applying them to processes and assets
• Experience reviewing code and architecture for security issues
• Ability to produce security evaluation documentation
• Experience with security monitoring infrastructure (log analysis, web application firewalls)
• United States citizenship
• 8+ years of relevant experience
