Job summary

Pearce Services seeks a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure across data center, cloud, campus, and branch environments. You will lead complex projects, ensure high availability, security, and operational excellence.

This hybrid role requires two days per week in a Dallas-area office, with relocation not available. Ideal candidates bring 8+ years in enterprise networking, expertise in Cisco/Juniper platforms, SDWAN, cloud networking, NAC,

Qualifications

• 8+ years of enterprise network engineering and infrastructure operations.
• Expert knowledge of Cisco/Juniper routing, switching, and data center tech like ACI/Nexus/Catalyst.
• Experience with SDWAN, WAN, cloud networking, and enterprise segmentation.
• Working knowledge of Azure, AWS, and GCP networking services; hybrid-cloud architectures.
• Experience with ISE, NAC, wireless, F5 load balancing, and network monitoring tools.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS/Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Certs like CCNP/CCIE/PCNSE/AWS/Azure networking preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and support enterprise network infrastructure across data centers, cloud, campus, and branches.
• Lead complex infrastructure initiatives ensuring high availability, security, and performance.
• Configure routing/switching protocols (BGP/OSPF/EIGRP, VPCs, etc.) and SDWAN/WAN.
• Implement NAC, VPNs, IDS/IPS, Zero Trust, and security architectures.
• Manage wireless networks (WLCs, APs) and load balancers (F5) for app delivery.
• Create network diagrams, standards, procedures, and technical docs.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in incident/change capacity planning.
