Job summary

Pearce Services is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and optimize enterprise networking across data centers, cloud, campus, and branch environments. The role emphasizes routing, switching, security, SDWAN, and hybrid-cloud integration.

The position is hybrid with two days per week in a Dallas-area office; relocation is not provided. You will lead projects and mentor engineers, collaborating with security and cloud teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive experience in enterprise network engineering and infrastructure operations.
• Expert knowledge of Cisco and Juniper routing, switching, and data center technologies.
• Strong experience with Palo Alto firewalls, VPN solutions, and network security architecture.
• Experience designing and supporting SDWAN, WAN, cloud networking, and enterprise segmentation.
• Working knowledge of Azure, AWS, and GCP networking services and hybrid-cloud architectures.
• Experience with Cisco ISE, NAC technologies, wireless networking, F5 load balancing, and monitoring tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Industry certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, PCNSE, Azure Networking Engineer, AWS Advanced Networking preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and support enterprise network infrastructure across data centers, cloud, campus, and branch environments.
• Lead complex network initiatives to ensure high availability, security, and scalability.
• Configure routing and switching with Cisco/Juniper platforms and firewall solutions.
• Develop automation to streamline provisioning, monitoring, and configuration management.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers.
