Job summary

TensorWave Inc. is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join our Corporate IT team in Las Vegas. You will design, implement, operate, and improve our corporate network infrastructure with a focus on modernization and reliability.

You will own networking workstreams, troubleshoot complex issues, and collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure secure, scalable connectivity across the organization.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on experience implementing and supporting enterprise network infrastructure.
• Strong practical experience with Cisco switching and routing technologies.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, subnetting, routing, STP/RSTP, LACP, DHCP, DNS, NAT, VPNs.
• Experience troubleshooting complex Layer 2 and Layer 3 network issues.
• Experience supporting enterprise wireless networks.
• Experience with network segmentation, access controls, and security fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise LAN, WAN, wireless, and network security infrastructure.
• Own defined networking workstreams within Corporate IT infrastructure initiatives.
• Configure and support Cisco switching, routing, wireless, and related networking technologies.
• Support redundant Internet connectivity, high-availability network designs, WAN failover, and SD-WAN technologies.
• Configure and maintain VLANs, routing, spanning tree, link aggregation, access controls, network segmentation, and related Layer 2/Layer 3 technologies.
• Support enterprise authentication technologies including 802.1X, RADIUS, certificate-based authentication, and network access controls.
• Work with firewall and security teams to implement network segmentation, access policies, VPN connectivity, and security controls.
• Monitor network availability, performance, capacity, and reliability and proactively identify potential issues.
• Troubleshoot complex connectivity and performance issues using network diagnostic and packet‑analysis tools.
• Maintain accurate network diagrams, configuration documentation, IP addressing information, connection schedules, standards, and operating procedures.
• Participate in network changes, upgrades, migrations, maintenance, and incident response.
• Work with telecommunications carriers, technology vendors, managed service providers, and other external partners as needed.
• Identify opportunities to improve network reliability, scalability, security, monitoring, and operational efficiency.
• Share technical knowledge and networking best practices with Corporate IT team members and provide peer mentoring and technical guidance.
