Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in networking or a related field.
• Experience with TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
• Proficiency with switching equipment and VPN implementations.
• CCNA certification preferred.
• Knowledge of firewall principles.
• Experience supporting a corporate network with SLAs.

Responsibilities

• Implement complex network solutions for LAN/WAN, VPN, and wireless networks.
• Document network architecture and configurations.
• Diagnose and resolve complex network issues across hardware and software.
• Provide tier-2 support for network incidents and service requests.
• Monitor network performance using advanced tools.
• Analyze traffic and performance metrics to identify bottlenecks.
• Implement and manage firewall, IDS/IPS, and VPN security measures.
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and vendors for projects.
• Maintain documentation of configurations and procedures.
• Generate reports on performance, incidents, and trends.
• Mentor junior engineers and IT staff.
• Conduct training and knowledge-sharing activities.
• Stay current with emerging networking technologies and best practices.
• Recommend improvements to network infrastructure and processes.
