Job summary

COOLSOFT is seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to implement and support the agency's IT network infrastructure in Mechanicsville, VA. You will handle day-to-day activities including documentation, research, analysis, and implementation of network-related infrastructure.

The role requires hands-on experience with enterprise routers, switches, VPN concentrators, firewalls, and load balancers, along with CCNA or Juniper certifications.

Qualifications

• Experience with enterprise routers, switches, VPN concentrators, firewalls, wireless APs, and load balancers.
• Ability to document, setup, configure, upgrade, manage, and troubleshoot network infra.
• Candidate must have in-depth knowledge of network infrastructure and IT security concepts.

Responsibilities

• Implement and support VDOT network infrastructure.
• Document, analyze, and design LAN/WAN architectures.
• Troubleshoot network issues impacting performance and uptime.
