Job summary

The Richmond Group USA is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to manage and optimize a large-scale production network in the Greater Richmond VA region. You will work on backbone infrastructure, customer connectivity, and complex troubleshooting to influence design and delivery decisions.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience in telecom/cloud networks, with strong routing protocols and vendor familiarity.

Qualifications

Senior-level hands-on network engineering experience in a production environment.
Experience in telecom, carrier, ISP, service provider, managed network, or large enterprise networks.
Experience supporting both network infrastructure and customer-facing connectivity.
Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to work through complex network issues.

Responsibilities

Support and operate a large-scale production network including backbone infrastructure and customer connectivity.
Troubleshoot routing, transport, performance, and service issues.
Support site turnups, expansions, commissioning, and upgrades.
Collaborate with customers and internal teams to develop tailored solutions.
Improve network reliability, processes, documentation, and service delivery.
Own technical problems from diagnosis through resolution.
